Fog in S'pore?!

Gods… anyone saw the haze today? It’s been quite sometime after I last saw a haze so thick. Abit thicker and you can walk on it. A friend of mine was complaining about the fog and its creators and he goes on to mention, and I quote “stupid Indonesians”. However, I think they aren’t stupid at all. The “slash and burn” farmers in Indonesia are actually sending their families to other parts of the countries in the upwind direction, according to what Straits Times says. Not stupid right? If only we can move Singapore to an upwind direction of Indonesia when they start burning again…

But since we can’t do that, just live with it. What to do? For an organism that’s made up of about 20+% carbon (about 70% water), what’s a bit of carbon particles in the air going to do to you? Hmm, actually I can think of a few offhand, little things like irritate eyes and lungs, which leads to asthma. Or if you breathe in enough carbon particles, they’ll gather around in your lungs and start forming C-C bonds with your cell and voila, there you have a nice tumor. Of course we can’t blame anyone if any of the above happens. The poor Indonesian farmer has already apologized to the ST reporter that interviewed him (just as the one that was interviewed during the last haze did). In fact, he was quite sorry that the wind blew all the smoke all the way here. Oh well, look on the bright side (even though the sun’s blocked by the haze), Singapore dun have snow and fog right? Somewhere in Jurong got a “snow city”, use some imagination and Indonesia might just have provided us with a “fog city”

Burnt Fingers

Oh… 1st week after mid term break and my hands are so full of injuries… Monday kena Watford burn fingers, Wednesday kena chemicals burn fingers, today kena 2hr history test burn my right hand( all the way from palm to wrist to forearm). Going by my burning streak, if I light matches confirm burn my hands one.

Talking about matches reminds me of candles, lanterns and 中秋节. Just now on my way home saw some very 怀旧的画面. Long time nvr play like that liao…

Btw, tonight 十五 but sk see no moon, hg and pasir ris got see moon or not?
